We don't store your videos: Files stream directly from TikTok's servers to your device. We never record or save video files.
No account required: You never need to register, log in, or give us your name or phone number.
Minimal logging: We only log short-lived rate-limiting information to keep our servers fast and prevent spam.

TikSave is an independent, free web tool that helps users save and back up TikTok content for personal offline use. We are not affiliated with, authorized by, or connected to TikTok or ByteDance Inc.

2. The Data We Handle & Why

We collect as little data as possible. Here's what we handle and why:

IP Addresses: Temporarily processed to enforce rate limits (preventing automated bots from overloading our servers). These temporary records expire automatically within seconds to minutes.
Submitted TikTok URLs: When you paste a link, our server processes it in memory solely to fetch video metadata (such as the title, author name, and direct media URLs). Lightweight metadata is cached in Redis for up to 10 minutes to speed up repeated lookups of the same video.
Aggregated Analytics: We log basic, anonymous metrics (like total daily downloads or resolution error counts) to ensure our systems stay operational. No personal identity is linked to these metrics.

3. How Video Downloads Work

Direct Stream:When you click to download a video or MP3, the data streams directly from TikTok’s content delivery network (CDN) to your browser. TikSave acts strictly as a proxy conduit—we never store or host the media files on disk.

4. Cookies & Advertising

To keep TikSave free for everyone, we show ads through third-party advertising partners like Google AdSense.

Advertising partners may place cookies on your browser to serve ads based on your visit history.
Google's use of advertising cookies allows it and its partners to show relevant ads based on web browsing patterns.
You can manage or opt out of personalized ads at any time by visiting Google Ads Settings.

5. Third-Party Links & Platforms

When you use TikSave, your request connects to TikTok's servers to fetch media. TikTok's own terms and privacy practices apply to content hosted on their platform.

6. Children's Privacy

TikSave is intended for general audiences. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
